Reebok’s partnership with the semi-satirical fashion label Vetements has led to some interesting collaborations in the last few seasons. This week, Demna’s take on the Spike Runner 200 returned silently in a new tonal colorway.

Demna Gvasalia’s unique perspective on fashion surfaces again this month, continuing his collaboration with Reebok. Picking up right where they left off, the latest work from the two partners showcases six all-new colorways of the Spike Runner, a piece of Reebok’s Premier Running line from the early 2000s. The special edition iteration mixes a wide variety of materials, including both stiff and flexible TPU overlays, synthetic leather, different kinds of mesh, and Scotchlite reflective 3M paneling. The latest colorway from the Georgian fashion designer dresses the shoe in simple black and white tones, alternating for each layer to achieve a sleek, tuxedo-like look.

The latest colorway of the Vetements x Reebok Spike Runner 200 to hit shelves arrive in stores yesterday, February 9th, 2020. The tonal black & white colorway is currently available from retailers like The Webster in select sizes for $760, with a wider release over the coming weeks.
