Summer 2021 is starting to heat up with a ton of hyped releases creating a month you won’t want to miss out on. Here are the top sneaker drops going down this August 2021.
While June and July had a handful of hot releases, August appears to be the month of the summer with drops being scheduled for every week that fans have been waiting on. There’s a lot to go over for the month, so to make things easier we’ll be breaking it down by brand, starting with none other than Jordan.
AIR JORDAN
While the summer hasn’t seen too many Retro releases, August will change that around with a handful of drops being expected. Following the High last week, the month will surely dominated by the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low dropping soon, but there are plenty of other Air Jordan 1 offerings for those who take an L, such as the Jordan 1 High Pollen and Seafoam, Along with the AJ1 Low Shattered Backboard and the SNKRS Day Cheetah rendition. Other Jordan silhouettes dropping include the coveted Air Jordan 4 Lightning, Air Jordan 6 Low Dongdan, Air Jordan 12 Utility, and for the ladies, Aleali May’s Air Jordan 14 Low.
NIKE
Keeping it in the same family, next up we’ll take a look at Nike’s next 31 days. And to no surprise, August will be dominated by the Dunk like we’ve seen just about all year long. With Virgil’s Off-White collection expected to steal the show, let’s not get too distracted by Off-White dominance, as there’s still a handful of variations you’ll want to get your hands on. For the Dunk Low fans, Nike will be dropping their collaboration with Social Status along with colorways consisting of Purple Pulse, Yellow Strike, Camo, NY VS. NY, and Pink/Grey while the High will feature the Aluminum and Chocolate renditions. The Swoosh will also be collaborating with Fragment and Sacai on the LDWaffle while also furthering their collaboration with Undefeated on the Dunk vs AF1 collection.
ADIDAS
Switching things over for The Three Stripes, adidas will have a great month with a special thanks to Kanye for Yeezy Day 2021. The month will feature new and returning Yeezy designs which will include the 350 V2 Zebra, Black RF, Cloud RF, Synth RF, Tail Light, and the Light colorways. The 700 will also have a busy month with the Waverunner, V2 Mauve, and MNVN Blue all being scheduled along with new Yeezy models like the Foamrunner in MX Cream Clay and the newly coveted Slides which will feature its anticipated Glow Green makeover. For other adidas releases, they will be furthering their Pharrell collaboration with a NERD NMD Hu along with furthering their IVY PARK collection and Disney collection with a Monsters Inc themed Stan Smith.
