2021’s lineup just got a lot better with information detailing that the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” looks to finally be releasing to the general public for the first time ever.

“Released” back in 2006, you had to be apart of Jordan Brand’s team to be able to secure a pair which automatically created a frenzy for the sneaker. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s seasonal Motorcycle racing team, the pair was packaged with a special tee and released alongside a “Thunder” pair that was packaged with an Air jacket. With the demand and limited amount of pairs, in order to snag a pair for yourself via the secondary market, you could see prices that top $2,000. Now after rumors of the sneaker releasing throughout the years, it finally looks like the time has come.

Featuring a Tour Yellow, Multi-Color, Dark Blue Grey colorway, it’s not official that the upcoming 2021 pair will be the Lightning pair but based off of the official colorway, it’s pretty safe to say the Lighting AJ4 is back. Calling for the usual AJ4 build, yellow suede covers the entire upper where black accents are added in on the side paneling, the lacing system, and sockliner. The soles finish off the vibrant upper with a white midsole, clear Air bubble, and black outsole.

For now, we don’t have too many details to give regarding an official release date but the pair is expected to arrive sometime in 2021 via select Jordan retailers and Nike.com. Make sure to keep it locked to JustFreshKicks for all the updates going forward as we will be covering this release very closely.
