adidas Originals’ new Orketro silhouette first surfaced last month, sporting a wild series of overlays and retro inspiration. Now, Three Stripes collaborator Sean Wotherspoon is sharing a first look at his version, coming later this year.

The adidas Originals team has spent plenty of time in the brand’s archives in recent years, utilizing the hundreds of styles there for inspiration for a range of new styles. Most recently, the team debuted their Orketro silhouette overseas, which applies a series of wicked overlays to an old-school tooling to create one of the most interesting silhouette’s we’ve seen this year. Now, Round Two vintage founder and designer Sean Wotherspoon has teased his version of the aggressive new silhouette, expected to release later this year. Wotherspoon’s version begins with a pale pink tone applied across the mesh base layer, applying the shoe’s signature sharp overlays in both light grey and black suedes. Accent elements appear in a rich blue tone, while hints of green complete the look.

Sean Wotherspoon’s take on the adidas Orketro has not yet been announced for release, though we expect to see the bright colorway land in stores sometime in 2022. The wild new silhouette will likely be available from both adidas and select retailers, coming with a price tag of at least $170. Check out the teaser images from Wotherspoon below, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more adidas release news.
