Sean Wotherspoon’s work with adidas has added a number of new silhouettes and styles in the last year, with more on the way for 2023. This week, the designer teased his version of the Gazelle in hemp, arriving in 2023.
Sean Wotherspoon has created a prolific body of work with adidas, after severing his ties with Nike several year ago. Since then, the Los Angeles-based designer and vintage curator has gone to work on a number of the Three Stripes’ signature silhouettes, adding another one to his arsenal this year with the Gazelle. Teased via his Instagram, SW shared a look at a ‘Hemp’ pair of the Gazelle, which features a mixed green and white knit upper, paired with leather stripes and tongues. The heel counter comes in bright orange canvas, while a gum sole completes the look.

Sean Wotherspoon’s signature version of the adidas Gazelle has not been announced for release, though he has stated that they are slated to release sometime in 2023. The ‘Hemp’ construction in green, white, and orange, will likely be available via the Three Stripes’ Confirmed app as well as select retailers.
