Saucony’s East coast roots have informed much of the brand’s identity over the years, including their iconic river logo. Named for the Saucony Creek in Pennsylvania, this Shadow 6000 honors those roots through a special-edition colorway.

Last year, Saucony celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of their Shadow 6000 silhouette. Originally built for distance running, the iconic sneaker has remained a staple in the brand’s arsenal for decades, transitioning to an excellent, all-purpose lifestyle model in more recent years. This week, the Massachusetts-based brand is utilizing the fan-favorite runner to celebrate their namesake, the Saucony Creek, casting the retro runner in luxurious materials and colors inspired by the creek bed itself and surrounding nature. The look begins with a pale green mesh base layer, adding layers of suede in a soft tan tone with hints of blue-tinted grey and pink shining through. The Saucony river logo comes in white leather with yellow dots in the center, while grey and pink faded laces complete the look.
