Parish Fashion Week has taken over our feeds for the last week, with brands pulling up from around the world to showcase sneakers for Spring & Summer 2027. Saucony’s “Omakase” pack caught our eye, coming next year.
Saucony has been on a roll in the last few years, expanding their collaborative partnerships to bring a wider range of voices and ideas to their footwear. The biggest releases have largely consisted of their retro running shoes, repurposed for lifestyle, like the ProGrid Omni 9 and Triumph 4 models. However, some brands like Minted have delved into the modern performance models, with their chrome Endorphin Pro 5 from earlier this year. This week, the Boston-based brand previewed a colorful “Omakase” pack coming next Spring.
The latest collection of colorful runners is not Saucony’s first dive into Japanese culture this year. The brand released the “Kissaten” collection in April, inspired by Japanese teahouses. Omakase is a word used for meals where dishes are hand picked by the chef, typically seen in sushi bars where the chef knows which fish is best or most unique. The footwear collection doesn’t exactly lean into a food theme, but instead seems to allude to a chef’s choice in textiles, sewing techniques, and colors. The pack features the Omni 9, Triumph 4, and Endorphin, each covered in an array of patterns, colors, and materials. Knit, woven, and plaid elements all make an appearance, as well as sashiko stitching, floral embroidery, and cross stitch.

Saucony’s recent sneaker previews from the Paris Fashion Week showroom are not expected to release until late this year, with selections like the “Omakase” pack coming in Spring 2027. This colorful, craft-focused series brings tons of materials, textures, and sewing techniques to three sneakers, the Omni 9, Triumph 4, and the Endorphin Pro. Details regaridng this release are scarce, but we expect pricing to be in the $170 and up range.
