Saucony first reintroduced their retro Grid Web runner earlier this year with the help of Ronnie Fieg. Now, as the brand is busy following that up with a ComplexCon exclusive release, we finally have word of an official global release for the Grid Web.

The Grid Web was originally introduced in the year 2000, and created a landmark in Saucony’s history of innovation and design. Built as an all-purpose running shoe, the Grid Web was quickly heralded as one of the premier models on the market, thanks to its long-lasting underfoot cushioning and outstanding support. Now, nearly 20 years after the original release, the Saucony Grid Web is making its return in full.

The initial colorway to mark the Grid Web’s reentrance into the sneaker scene, Saucony has opted for one of the silhouette’s original colorways. The look begins with a white mesh base layer stretching from heel to toe, overlaid with Saucony’s literal web of stiff plastic used to provide rigid support throughout the shoe. An elastic covering attaches the sides of the lacing system together, while a thick heel counter keeps your feet locked in. Finally, flashes of orange and yellow make the Saucony logo stand out along the silhouette.
