Saucony is on the rise right now, gaining some new fans from their popular Jae Tips collaborations last year. Now, they’ve reengineered their Grid Shadow 2 with Gore-Tex waterproofing, coming soon.

Saucony’s retro shoes are having a moment right now, as older running models continue to dominate popular sneaker culture. The Grid Shadow 2 has been the main focus for lifestyle repurposing in the last year, with collaborations from Jae Tips and Bodega bringing the shoe to wider audiences. Now, fresh off a wildly popular project with Minted and the ProGrid Triumph 4, the Shadow 2 has emerged in a new Gore-Tex pack, sporting three tonal colorways with waterproof elements. Each style rests on a dark grey midsole, and features black Saucony and Gore-Tex branding. Color options include a bright yellow, a muted olive green, and an all-black look.

Saucony’s upcoming weather-proof edition of the Grid Shadow 2 has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive later in 2024. Arriving in three Gore-Tex-clad colors; yellow, olive green, and black, pairs will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers for an expected $150.
