Salomon has been leading the game in outdoor exploration gear for seventy-five years, handling everything from trail running to cross-country skiing. The French brand’s footwear saw a surge in popularity in recent years, thanks to a global yearning to go outside during the pandemic, as well as their renewed everyday lifestyle releases. For their anniversary celebration, the brand has released a number of special projects so far this year, adding a new limited-edition pair of sneakers to their offerings this week. Calling back the original color scheme of the classic Adventure 7 hiking boot, this new XT-6 Expanse features a gold and green mesh base layer with dark brown overlays and black accents. The Expanse model is a new edition to the XT family, rebuilding the 6 silhouette with stitched overlays as opposed to the usual heat-sealed taped versions that have been immensely popular in the past two years.
