Salomon’s excellent outdoor footwear continues to strike a chord with sneakerheads, particularly with silhouettes like the XT-4. This week, the trail shoe arrived in a Summer-ready ‘Evening Primrose’ color scheme, available now.
Salomon’s SportStyle team is somewhat of a recent addition to the French outdoor brand. As Salomon’s trail and hiking shoes grew more popular amongst gear and sneakerheads, the brand clearly wanted to set some of these styles apart from others, labeling them as dual-purpose athletic and lifestyle shoes, or, SportStyle. The new product range allowed for Salomon to try new spins on fan-favorite models like the XT-4, which now comes in soft ground, hard ground, and lifestyle versions. This week, the trail-ready model arrived in a bright new rainbow look, which features a gradient yellow-to-green mesh base layer for the shoe, while purple taped overlays hold everything in place. The midsole adds hints of red, orange, and light blue to complete the look.

Salomon’s latest release of the fan-favorite XT-4 landed on their website earlier this week, where it is still available in a wide range of sizes. Ready for Summer, the ‘Evening Primrose’ look comes with the usual price tag of $220, and will likely launch from secondary retailers in the coming weeks.
