Salomon’s SportStyle division has taken an interesting turn recently, beginning to revive some of the brand’s most beloved retro models. This week, they announced the return of the ACS Pro Advanced trail shoe, which drops tomorrow.

Salomon’s SportStyle team is somewhat of a recent addition to the French outdoor brand. As Salomon’s trail and hiking shoes grew more popular amongst gear and sneakerheads, the brand clearly wanted to set some of these styles apart from others, labeling them as dual-purpose athletic and lifestyle shoes, or, SportStyle. The new product range allowed for Salomon to try new spins on fan-favorite models like the XT-6, which now comes in soft ground, hard ground, and lifestyle versions. Additionally, Salomon began reviving some of their best selling and most popular retro models, like the ACS Pro Advanced sneaker we are taking a look at today. Originally released in the mid-2000s, the ACS Pro brings back the brands Agile Chassis System, which helps provide extra stability on the rockiest of terrain. The ACS Pro Advanced will mark its return with the grey, silver, and white colorway seen here, with more likely to come in the near future.
