Reebok’s DMX Trail Shadow made its debut last year, enticing fans with its aggressive shape and exciting collaborations. Now, the silhouette returns in a new, mountain footwear-inspired form. Check out the Trail Shadow Approach in “Clay Red”, available now.

Last year, the Reebok team delivered the DMX Trail Shadow, a rugged, outdoor-inspired silhouette that made the rounds through exciting collaborations and smooth in-line colorways. Then, early in 2021, Reebok unveiled the Trail Shadow Approach, a new variation on the hot silhouette that took further inspiration from the outdoors, specifically, mountain approach footwear, stripping back the plastic cage overlay in favor of an extended rubberized mudguard. The DMX Trail Shadow Approach has released in a handful of colorways since its launch, each one building on the new style’s popularity, a trend that continues this month with the latest color scheme. Inspired by the Western United States’ sun-soaked rocks, the “Clay Red” colorways applies a faded red hue to the Trail Shadow’s upper, from the inner lining to the brand’s Vector logos on either side. To highlight this brilliant shade, the oversized mudguard and midsole come in black, completing the look.
