Reebok’s Club C has quickly become the brand’s go-to canvas for a special-edition release, whether it be a collaboration or seasonal item. This week, it is the latter, as the Club C ’85 transforms into one of its higher-quality renditions for the “Year of the Ox” edition.

Reebok’s Club C trainer has burst back into popularity over the past year, quickly transitioning from a vintage workout shoe to the year’s hottest under-the-radar fashion silhouette. Featured among collaborations with JJJJound, Patta, BAPE, and even the Assassin’s Creed series of video games, the Club C has also seen its fair share of standard-issue releases, celebrating its 35th-anniversary in 2020 through a number of special-edition basics. Now, Reebok is kicking off the new year with more Club C, this time transforming he shoe into a highly detailed work of art in celebration of the “Year of the Ox”. The new look begins with a plain white leather upper for the classic trainer, with a black satin inner lining for ultimate comfort. The tongue and lacing system are covered by an oversized jacquard label, sporting a floral pattern and subtle Reebok branding. The midsole is yellowed to show the age of the silhouette, while a dark grey outsole completes the look.
