Reebok’s classic Club C silhouette has seen a burst in popularity over the past year, as consumers turn to vintage styles for the latest fashion trends. This year, Reebok is celebrating 35 years of the Club C, starting off with two special-edition colorways.

Sneakers have changed a lot since 1985, when some of the world’s most innovative shoes were originally released. While there are plenty of silhouettes to talk aout from the time, today we are looking at Reebok’s Club C in particular. Originally developed as an on-court tennis sneaker, the Club C quickly rose to popularity in the ’80s due to its simple style and clean, attractive colorways. Now, 35 years later, the Club C is still a fan-favorite Reebok sneaker, though now it resides entirely in the lifestyle category. This week, the British sneaker brand unveiled two colorways celebrating the Club C’s rich history in sports and life, with two colorways inspired by the original colorblocking of the shoe. Both feature the same vintage off-white leather upper, with details about the Club C pinned on the tongue ofor a clear view. Then, you have your choice of either green or navy blue accents, the former of which appears only in the form of a tiny green tag near the Reebok branding, while the navy blue option’s color blocking extends to the inner lining and heel tab. Finally, both pairs are completed by ’19’ and ’85’ embroidery on the heels.
