Reebok’s revival of the throwback Aztrek silhouette last year has been a hit since its debut. Now, the British-based sneaker giants are readying up a sequel to the fan-favorite, the new Aztrek Double.

Reebok’s extensive archive of retro sneakers has serviced them well over the years, particularly during the recent vintage trend, which saw their classic trainers surging in popularity over the past few years. One of these retro silhouettes was the Aztrek, an off-road running sneaker originally released back in 1993. The revamped sneaker has been a hit so far, launching in dozens of new and original colorways as well as a few special edition releases along the way. Now, Reebok is ready to share their follow-up: the Aztrek Double.

Building upon their initial success, the Reebok Aztrek Double leans heavily into the oversized trend currently dominating sneakers. The upper is constructed from a base layer of mesh, overlaid with various pieces of nubuck. The classic Reebok logo is displayed prominently on the outer side, highlighted on the first colorway by a touch of teal. The bulky upper rests on top of one of the tallest coles we’ve seen recently, adding plenty of cushioning underfoot.
