The Reebok Classic Leather Legacy is here, and to celebrate, the United Kingdom-based brand has tapped Los Angeles’ Pleasures for an upscale take on the newly modified classic, inspired by the California desert.

Pleasures have been pumping out some low-key sneaker heat for several years now, regularly teaming up with AAA brands for under-the-radar releases of some legendary silhouettes. Most recently, the Los Angeles-based label teamed up with Reebok to release a spider web-covered take on the Beatnik sandal. Now, the two are reuniting, with Pleasures helping to debut a newly updated Reebok original, the Classic Leather Legacy. The modernized version, which launched earlier this week in a handful of colorways, retains the same shape as the original Classic Leather, adding some new materials and overlays to bring the vintage runner into the modern era. Pleasures’ take, inspired by Southern California deserts, mixes materials like ripstop, mesh, and leather in a dusty tan and brown construction to mimic the deserts never-ending sands.
