Pharrell’s “Earth” Pack of the adidas AdiZero EVO SL Releases This Week

Pharrell and adidas are cooking up a new release this season. While it’s not the Jellyfish sneaker we’ve been impatiently waiting for, the Humanrace edition of the AdiZero EVO SL is releasing in August 2025.

Pharrell has been releasing various projects with adidas since their Humanrace NMD was a smash hit in 2016. The Virginia-based musician and designer has been given a high degree of creative freedom in his Three Stripes partnership, which he pushed to the edge for their NMD debut. Since then, his name or his Humanrace branding has been applied to dozens of releases, some more popular than others. This year, they have been teasing the debut of a new signature model, the AdiStar Jellyfish. While that release is right around the corner, they have a more subtle project also coming soon.

Pharrell has lent his Humanrace branding to a number of adidas in-line releases. These pairs typically aren’t as flashy as his other projects, and simply reinterpret a sneaker with a new color scheme. Their AdiZero EVO SL pack is one of these drops, dressing the running shoe in two simple styles. Options include either a white-based or all-black color scheme, both featuring the same colorful accents. The Three Stripes on each side of the shoe come in green, blue, and brown, with Humanrace branding on the insoles.

PHARRELL X ADIDAS ADIZERO EVO SL PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

Pharrell’s next release with adidas, the AdiZero EVO SL running show, has not been given a set date yet but is expected to land in August 2025. Featuring two colorways, one in white and the other in black, pairs will likely be available from both adidas and select retailers. Pricing is currently unknown but is not expected to change much from the standard $150 MSRP.

The Nike Air Max Sunder Brings Pine Green to a New Gradient Colorway

Since its return a year ago, Nike has given us plenty of interesting takes on the Air Max Sunder. Luckily, they have kept their simple colorways going as well, giving us new pairs like this “Pine Green” edition, coming soon.

Nike revived a legendary silhouette from their archives in Fall 2024, the Air Max Sunder. Originally released in the Alpha Project around the turn of the century, the shoe’s first-ever retro celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, and is one of our favorite Air Max retros from Nike of this decade. The runner was a futuristic approach to sneaker design at the time, when Nike began experimenting with neoprene uppers and zippered shrouds for more form-fitting and easily accessible sneakers. More than twenty years later, that innovation has transcended into a unique fashion statement.

Over the last year, Nike has rolled out plenty of interesting new styles for the Sunder, including new materials, Gore-Tex water proofing, and unique patterns. However, our favorites are still the simple tonal colors or the gradient pairs, like the new “Pine Green” edition seen here. This look features a green upper that fades to black around the heels, making an excellent Fall color palette. This is paired with soft Wolf Grey for the airflow holes, and a matching grey midsole to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “PINE GREEN” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest gradient style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Fall 2025. Starting in vivid “Pine Green” at the toes and fading to black at the heels, pairs will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with a price tag of $180.

Fear of God Athletics’ line with adidas is fleshing out this year with a wide range of new colors for their flagship model, the Basketball II. The silhouette is the star of the line, which also includes a trainer model, several lifestyle shoes, and a range of athletic apparel. Jerry Lorenzo, the founder and creative behind FoG, has had a long-publicized relationship with the NBA and individual players. This year, Derrick Rose will get to release his take on their Bball II sneaker.

This week, Derrick Rose attended a Chicago White Sox game to throw out the first pitch, as well as giving us our first look at his version of the FoG Basketball II. The pair he wore appears to be the shoe’s low-top model, and comes in a new color scheme. The mesh base layer comes in a cement grey shade, with black taped overlays applied on top. The usual crepe midsole is still present, with flashes of red for the laces and heel counter branding.

The Nike Ja 3 Turns Into a Zombie for a Halloween Release

Last week, Nike Basketball took over the latest SNKRS Showcase to unveil a ton of upcoming product. One thing they neglected to show us was the Halloween edition of the Ja 3, which features GITD materials and a zombie theme.

Last week heralded the return of Nike’s SNKRS Showcase series, a livestream hosted in their app to give us early looks at some of the best sneakers from upcoming seasons. This edition was focused entirely on their Basketball division, giving us early looks at both retro and performance styles, and unveiling a range of new products. Teasers included our first official look at the GT Future, Foamposite retros like the “Pine Green” style, and player signatures like the Halloween edition KD18.

Ja Morant’s next signature model, the Ja 3, was also present during the show, unveiled in a pack of graffiti-inspired styles. However, they did not share the Halloween-inspired look that will release alongside the KD18 pair. Coming in October, the Ja 3 “Zombie” brings a bold green style to the sneaker, mixing shades of green across its textile base and rubberized overlay. The entirety of these rubberized pieces glow in the dark, as seen below, and the look adds brown laces, red Swoosh outlines, and a toothy lace ornament to complete the look.

NIKE JA 3 “ZOMBIE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming “Zombie” edition of the Nike Basketball Ja 3 will release alongside their other Halloween-themed sneakers, expected on October 21st, 2025. Dressed in shades of green with red accents and glow-in-the-dark features, pairs will likely be available through Nike and select retailers like FootLocker for $140.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Baroque Brown” is Now Available

Air Jordan leaks are the lifeblood of the sneaker rumor mill, with new styles and colorways surfacing months ahead of their actual releases. This week, a new Air Jordan 1 High joins that club, dressed in a mix of “Baroque Brown” and “Light Madder Root” shades, coming in 2025.

Jordan Brand releases are usually the highlight of new and upcoming sneaker news. In the past few years, we’ve been hearing about new styles far ahead of their launch dates, with mockup photos to accompany each new rumor, speculating on the colors and color blocking of each look. This week, a new Air Jordan 1 High for late 2025 has emerged, with an interesting color combo of Baroque Brown and Light Madder Root.

The pair shown in the mockup features a Sail white leather base for its upper, with the baroque brown shade making up the shoe’s suede overlay panels. The pale red Madder Root color is applied to the shoe’s collar and Swoosh elements. Once again, this is just a speculative mockup and not likely to be the final look of the shoe when it releases next year.

AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH “BAROQUE BROWN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The new color scheme of the Air Jordan 1 High is currently expected to arrive sometime in Fall 2025. Seen here only in a speculative mockup, the brown and light red style will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $180.

New Balance’s 2010 Pops in New Navy Blue & Pink Colorways

New Balance’s new 2010 silhouette is now in full swing, with several colorways already on shelves. This week, the mode has surfaced in new colorways for Fall 2025. One pair comes dressed in a dark navy blue tone, and the other in soft pastel pink hues.

New Balance just introduced the 2010 model this season, and the shoe already has a number of collaborations out in the world and lined up for the rest of the year. Kith had the opportunity to debut the model, and Rich Paul has two styles lined up for a Fall release. CdG teased a few pairs during this Summer’s Paris Fashion Week, and NB has two more in-line styles arriving later this month. Bolstering their standard-issue offerings, two more colorful options have surfaced this week.

Up until today, the large majority of New Balance’s colors for the 2010 have taken on neutral palettes. Kith’s pairs are the only ones on the market to offer any bright colors, but the Boston brand is changing that with their latest two styles. One of their new looks comes in a smooth navy blue shade, mixing different tones between the mesh underlay, suede overlay, and leather mid layers. Dark grey accents appear on the heel counters and N logos. The second pair features the same grey accents, adding more through the shoe’s leather panels. However, this look opts for a brighter color, applying pastel pink hues to the rest of the sneaker.

NEW BALANCE 2010 NAVY & PINK RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance has not yet announced the release of their latest colors for the 2010 runner. However, pairs are expected to arrive soon in late 2025. Dressed in two color schemes for this upcoming drop, one in navy blue and the other in soft pink hues, pairs will be available from both New Balance and select retailers for $160.

Aminé Unveils His New Balance 2000 “Biblioteca” Releasing in October

Aminé and New Balance are back! The two have not had any releases so far in 2025, and now we know why. They’ve been working on a special-edition pair of the new Abzorb 2000 silhouette, dressed in a lush green “Biblioteca” theme for an October release.

Aminé and New Balance released their first project back in late Summer of 2023. The two are an exciting partnership, with the Portland-born artist’s visual taste combined with the Boston footwear brand’s more understated, classic stylings. Their first venture brought us “The Mooz” 610, a trail runner featuring a banana-inspired color scheme. Shortly afterword, they released a trio of the laceless 610S, with each pair representing the various stages of ripeness for a banana. They then took a year off, coming back in November of 2024 with a “Benson Tech” colorway of the 740.

This week, after a few billboards popped up teasing a new release, Aminé and New Balance have unveiled their latest creation. Taking on this year’s new Abzorb 2000 style, the runner gets a striking look with inspiration from local public libraries. Dubbed “Biblioteca”, the collaboration brings bright green hues in varying shades across nearly the entirety of the 2000. The midsole adds small accents in white and black, while the Abzorb cushioning and select panels of the upper glow in the dark. Library-inspired detailing like a library card insole graphic, rules list on the tongue, and book drop packaging complete the new release.

AMINE X NEW BALANCE 2000 “BIBLIOTECA” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest project from Aminé and New Balance is due out this Fall, on October 4th, 2025. Dressing the new 2000 silhouette in vivid shades of green across the upper, pairs of this special project will be available through the Club Banana website (sign ups for additional release details open now), as well as a later release from NB. Pricing is set at $170 for this limited-edition style.

Kith Reveals Their adidas x Clarks Wallabee UltraBoost Collection

0

The three-way collaboration between Kith, adidas, and Clarks is one of the most unique projects in sneakers. This week, Ronnie Fieg unveiled their next collection, blending the Wallabee with tooling from the UltraBoost family.

Ronnie Fieg introduced an unprecedented collaboration in the world of sneakers with the team up between adidas and Clarks 8th Street, the division of the footwear brand he creatively directs. The brands have joined forces for multiple collections already, combining iconic sneaker elements from both sides into unique new styles. Their last release brought crepe soles to a number of adidas terrace trainers, and this week, Ronnie Fieg has unveiled their next project.

The upcoming collection from adidas and Clarks will blend iconic silhouettes from both parties into one, for perhaps their most adventurous project yet. Celebrating Clarks’ 200th anniversary of the Wallabee moccasin, they’ve applied some of adidas most famous cushioning to the shoe, Boost. Specifically, they’ve pulled the tolling from the original UltraBoost silhouette as well as its successor, the 3D-printed Ultra4D, applying them to various colors of the Wallabee. Shades of brown, blue, red, tan, black, and even a cheetah print style are seen in Kith’s behind the scenes photos. For the UltraBoost-tooled pairs, the Wallabee even adds the silhouette’s signature heel counter panel.

KITH X ADIADS X CLARKS WALLABEE ULTRABOOST COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION

Kith has not yet announced their release of the next adidas x Clarks project, though the collection is expected in Fall/Winter 2025. Celebrating the Wallabee’s 200th anniversary, they’ve remixed the iconic upper with adidas’ UltraBoost and Ultra4D midsoles for an unprecedented new release. Pairs will be available exclusively through Kith, likely with a hefty price tag.

Nardwuar is one of the most unique faces in journalism. Native to Vancouver, BC, Nardwuar is both a musician and a music journalist, playing both sides of the field. His band, The Evaporators, was formed in 1986 and is still active today, but his interviews with other musicians is what he is best known for. This year, Nardwuar is getting his own special pair of shoes from the Nike SB team. The project is still in the works, and it is currently unknown if the release is a collaboration, or just a special project from the SB team honoring the journalist. This week has brought us a first look at the shoe, which applies the same plaid pattern from his hat to the entirety of the Dunk Low’s upper. Based in navy blue, the look adds stripes in white, yellow, green, and red, while the midsoles, Swooshes, and laces from the shoe in black.

The adidas AdiZero Goukana “Preloved Ink” Releases Fall 2025

0

Last week, adidas held the global debut of their new AdiZero Goukana model. With the silhouette finally available to the public, new colors like this “Preloved Ink” edition have surfaced, coming this Fall.

The origins of adidas’ new Goukana model take root in 2008. The shoe is directly inspired by the original Adizero silhouette, an ultralight distance running shoe. Few pairs were created for the original run, and one was worn by Haile Gebrselassie during the Berlin marathon, where he set a record-smashing 2:03:59 time. The silhouette never got a public release, and was shelved until Wales Bonner helped bring it back as the Neftenga in 2024.

This week, the Goukana finally got a global release in its striking yellow color scheme, after a drop with Undefeated this Spring. With the chunky new silhouette finally available to the public, adidas’ next wave of colorways has surfaced ahead of their Fall release. Among these styles is a dark “Preloved Ink” pair. This look pits the shoe in a mix of materials and colors, starting with a deep navy blue for the mesh base. The shoe’s suede overlays come in another shade of blue, while the Preloved Ink tone makes up the midsoles and mid layers. Finally, the new color is completed by bright red accents.

adidas has not yet announced the next release of their new AdiZero Goukana model. Seen here in a navy blue “Preloved Ink” style, pairs are expected to arrive sometime in Fall 2025. Pairs will likely be available through both adidas and select retailers, with a price tag of $160.

The Nike Astrograbber Dons a Simple Black & Muslin Palette

0

After releasing in two separate projects with Bode, Nike’s Astrograbber is finally rejoining the brand’s in-line catalog, with the first pairs arriving via SNKRS this week. Today, another standard-issue style has emerged, dressing the archival model in a black & muslin palette.

Way back in 1974, Nike introduced the Astrograbber to their performance shoe offerings. In response to the growing trend of Astroturf replacing natural grass in professional sports, athletes needed a new shoe that could grip the plastic material and provide better traction on the new surface. The Astrograbber was the Swoosh’s answer, hence the name, and was inspired by Bill Bowerman’s experiments with the iconic waffle sole.

The model was revived in early 2024 when Nike teamed up with Bode for a special capsule collection, and the two released another set of pairs early in 2025. This week, Nike has their first in-line styles of the retro shoes hitting shelves, and today, another pair has joined their Fall release slate. The latest look ditches the colorful hues of this week’s releases in favor of a simple, neutral palette. The upper comes in a crisp black leather with minimal stitching, while the rest of the silhouette comes in a creamy-white Muslin tone.

NIKE ASTROGRABBER “BLACK/MUSLIN” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike is releasing their first in-line pairs of the Astrograbber retro tomorrow, though there is currently no set date for this clean black & off-white colorway. Originally designed as a turf shoe for football players, the silhouette now comes in premium leathers. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers, and are expected to come with a $160 price tag.

New Balance Dresses the 991v2 in “Dusk” Purple, Releasing in September

New Balance’s 991v2 has been an essential piece of the brand’s catalog since its introduction in late 2023. This week, a new style of the Made in England runner has surfaced on release calendars, dressed in a “Dusk” purple suede, coming soon.

The 991v2 from New Balance is seemingly one of their most popular sneakers of the last two years. Introduced in 2023 as an update to the original from 2001, the new style made only slight modifications to the design, reappropriating the former running shoe for casual wear. The model is produced exclusively through their Made in England program, cut and assembled at their factory in Flimby, England. This is the cause of the shoe’s hefty $250 price tag, but allows for more releases of unique colors in smaller quantities.

More releases might be a bit of an understatement for the 991v2. The silhouette has released in 1 to 2 new colors almost every month after its initial rollout, refreshed seasonally with new color palettes. This week, another entry int heir Fall slate has surfaced, donning a clean “Dusk” purple shade. The look applies a near tonal shade of purple to both the mesh underlay and suede overlays, adding small silver reflective accents to the various branding elements, along with white and black accents to complete the look.

NEW BALANCE 991V2 “DUSK” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s latest editions of their Made in England 991v2 are currently expected to release on September 11th, 2025, though the brand has not officially solidified this date yet. The soft “Dusk” purple pair is among the styles slated for that drop date, and will be available through both NB and select retailers for $250.
