The GEL-Cumulus 16 from Asics is the brand’s 2014 edition of the Cumulas family lineup. Crafted as a performance running shoe for high-mileage runners, the model will return soon, repurposed for their SportStyle line of casual sneakers. The partners for this project are A Ma Maniére, CNCPTS, Extra Butter, Feature, Sneaker Politics, Lapstone & Hammer, and Somewhere DC. The look features a silver mesh base with metallic chrome overlays, and a green to teal to purple color gradient for the Asics branding. The gradient also applies to the cushioning pods nestled in the midsole.

Nike’s Air Force 1 is one of their most frequent canvasses for special-edition, themed releases. This week, another banger from the Swoosh has emerged, dressing the shoe in a Leaf Camo shroud for Fall.

Fall is easily one of the best seasons. Cooler weather optimal for dressing in layers, incredible seasonal foods and flavors, and by far some of the best sneaker releases. The Fall palette of browns, greens, and reds makes up some of the best sneakers of all time, like Undefeated’s Air Jordan 4, an icon returning soon. Another Fall classic is Nike’s Wheat series, where they dress their most beloved models in tonal wheat brown shades every year. This year, Nike is trying something new for Fall 2025 and the Air Force 1.

The latest Fall sneaker leak comes from @brandon1an, who shared official images of a wild new take on the Air Force 1 Low coming later this year. The silhouette features an optional shroud covering the entire shoe that sports a pattern of fallen leaves in shades of red, orange, and yellow. Nike is going buck wild with their Kobe releases this year, celebrating the Mamba’s iconic sneakers with plenty of special new releases and classic retros. This week, we got our first look at the “Moonwalker” Kobe 9, coming this Summer.

With the dispute between Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate settled with Vanessa Bryant in 2022, the Swoosh has been hard at work bringing us plenty of Kobe sneakers to make up for lost time. This year, they have introduced a new wave of Protro models, which includes the Kobe 9, an iconic model from the franchise that had a high-top version that might be the tallest performance basketball shoe ever.

This week, we got an official look from Nike at one of their retro releases for the 9 Elite model, the Moonwalker color scheme. Seen on the feet of Caitlin Clark in their recent ad campaign, the pair honors the late great Michael Jackson and his signature moonwalk dance move, with a print of the moon on the shoe’s outsoles. The knit upper comes in a Hyper Grape purple shade, with white branding and black soles filling out the rest of the look.

Nike Adds Clear Panels Back to the Air Force 1 for the “Invisible Woman 2.0”

In 2006, Nike released the Fantastic Four pack, nodding to the movies of that era. With a new film coming this Summer, the Swoosh is revisiting the release to give us an “Invisible Woman 2.0” edition of the Air Force 1 Low.

In 2006, Nike was the undisputed king of street sneakers. The brand was still in its lawless era, pumping out exciting special releases that nodded to pop culture moments of the time, without any official partnership or licensing agreement. In that year, the brand released the Fantastic Four pack, ahead of the Rise of the Silver Surfer sequel in 2007. Featuring the Air Max 90 for Reed Richards, Air Force 1 for Sue Storm, Air Max 95 for Johnny Storm, and Dunk High for Ben Grimm, the pack subtly appropriated Marvel’s First Family into the sneaker world.

This Summer, the Fantastic Four return to the silver screen for the first film adaptation of the characters under the supervision of Marvel Studios. To celebrate the occasion, Nike appears to be releasing a fresh take on the Invisible Woman Air Force 1, updating the look to reflect the team’s new suit designs. The 2.0 version retains the clear plastic panels of the OG, applying them to the toes and midfoot, while making up the heel panels, eyestays, and toe mudguards in pristine white leather. Subtle grey trim adds some dimension to the color scheme, while University Blue accents complete the look.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW “INVISIBLE WOMAN 2.0” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s rehashed version of a 2006 Air Force 1 Low, nodding to the Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman, has not been announced for release yet, but will likely release sometime soon to coincide with the forthcoming Marvel Studios movie. The 2.0 edition adds more solid panels in white, and will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers. No pricing info is available yet.

New Balance Drops “Ice Blue” Accents Onto Their Latest 204L

Releases of the fresh 204L style from New Balance are well underway, with their first few in-line colorways currently available. This week, new colors have surfaced from the Boston brand, including a clean “Ice Blue” look, coming soon.

The 204L is New Balance’s direct response to the ultra slim sneaker trend that started in the high fashion industry. NB themselves directly contributed to this growing wave, through their collaborations with Italian label Miu Miu. The two took classic silhouettes from the Boston brand’s catalog, and applies ultra-thin sole units underneath. Now, the 204L is the first standard-issue style of its kind from New Balance, pairing their signature mesh and synthetic layered uppers with a nearly imperceptible layer of rubber cushioning.

After making its first appearance through leaks this Spring, the 204L finally debuted in July, through a project with Kith. The model still has collabs from Basketcase and AURALEE on the way, but NB is holding us over for the time being with some excellent standard-issue looks. This week, a new “Ice Blue” pair has caught our eye. The look features a plain white mesh base with some of its overlays in a matching plain white leather. The rest of its paneling comes in a metallic silver finish, with cream white laces adding a bit of depth to the neutral palette. Finally, the look is finished with the Ice Blue accent, added to the lacing loops, N logos, and heel counter panels.

NEW BALANCE 204L “ICE BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest colorways of the 204L from New Balance have not been given a set release date yet, but will arrive during the Fall 2025 season. Seen here in a smooth white and silver build with “Ice Blue” accents, this pair will be available from both NB and select retailers, and will come with the usual $110 price tag.

Nike SB’s Dunk Low Surfaces in a New “Mineral Slate” Sample

While Nike SB is well known for their work collaborative work with skaters, artists, and musicians, their in-line catalogue is some of the best of Nike’s offerings. This week, we have a first look at a new “Mineral Slate” colorway of the Dunk Low, hopefully releasing in 2026.

Nike SB continues to create the best version of the iconic Dunk Low, with their fat tongue and modified midsole for better performance on a skateboard. Different variations of the shoe have come over the years, each with their own unique twist, but the original still stands as one of the best styles (and maybe the easiest to get your hands on). While SB releases are all limited, given that they are only given to skate shop accounts, some colorways are more sought-after than others.

This week, a new sample has surfaced for the 2026 release slate, which might get sneakerheads clamoring to find a pair. The look features a “Mineral Slate” shade as its base, and a largely suede construction. The slate tone appears as a dark teal, and is applied to the shoe’s base layer. The overlay panels come in an off-white tone, though this could be the pale pink “Particle Rose” color listed in the shoe’s information. Dark Raisin purple Swooshes adorn either side of the shoe, while gum soles complete the look.

NIKE SB DUNK LOW “MINERAL SLATE” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike SB’s latest new Dunk Low sample colorway has not been announced for release, and likely will not reach stores until sometime in 2026. Dressed in a new “Mineral Slate” teal color, this is paired with an off-white shade and dark purple accents for a unique new look. Pairs will likely be available exclusively through the SNKRS app and local skate shops should they release, and will cost $120.

Pharrell’s “Earth” Pack of the adidas AdiZero EVO SL Releases This Week

Pharrell and adidas are cooking up a new release this season. While it’s not the Jellyfish sneaker we’ve been impatiently waiting for, the Humanrace edition of the AdiZero EVO SL is releasing in August 2025.

Pharrell has been releasing various projects with adidas since their Humanrace NMD was a smash hit in 2016. The Virginia-based musician and designer has been given a high degree of creative freedom in his Three Stripes partnership, which he pushed to the edge for their NMD debut. Since then, his name or his Humanrace branding has been applied to dozens of releases, some more popular than others. This year, they have been teasing the debut of a new signature model, the AdiStar Jellyfish. While that release is right around the corner, they have a more subtle project also coming soon.

Pharrell has lent his Humanrace branding to a number of adidas in-line releases. These pairs typically aren’t as flashy as his other projects, and simply reinterpret a sneaker with a new color scheme. Their AdiZero EVO SL pack is one of these drops, dressing the running shoe in two simple styles. Options include either a white-based or all-black color scheme, both featuring the same colorful accents. The Three Stripes on each side of the shoe come in green, blue, and brown, with Humanrace branding on the insoles.

PHARRELL X ADIDAS ADIZERO EVO SL PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

Pharrell’s next release with adidas, the AdiZero EVO SL running show, has not been given a set date yet but is expected to land in August 2025. Featuring two colorways, one in white and the other in black, pairs will likely be available from both adidas and select retailers. Pricing is currently unknown but is not expected to change much from the standard $150 MSRP.

The Nike Air Max Sunder Brings Pine Green to a New Gradient Colorway

Since its return a year ago, Nike has given us plenty of interesting takes on the Air Max Sunder. Luckily, they have kept their simple colorways going as well, giving us new pairs like this “Pine Green” edition, coming soon.

Nike revived a legendary silhouette from their archives in Fall 2024, the Air Max Sunder. Originally released in the Alpha Project around the turn of the century, the shoe’s first-ever retro celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, and is one of our favorite Air Max retros from Nike of this decade. The runner was a futuristic approach to sneaker design at the time, when Nike began experimenting with neoprene uppers and zippered shrouds for more form-fitting and easily accessible sneakers. More than twenty years later, that innovation has transcended into a unique fashion statement.

Over the last year, Nike has rolled out plenty of interesting new styles for the Sunder, including new materials, Gore-Tex water proofing, and unique patterns. However, our favorites are still the simple tonal colors or the gradient pairs, like the new “Pine Green” edition seen here. This look features a green upper that fades to black around the heels, making an excellent Fall color palette. This is paired with soft Wolf Grey for the airflow holes, and a matching grey midsole to complete the look.

NIKE AIR MAX SUNDER “PINE GREEN” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest gradient style of the Air Max Sunder retro does not have a release date yet, but is currently expected to release sometime in Fall 2025. Starting in vivid “Pine Green” at the toes and fading to black at the heels, pairs will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers with a price tag of $180.

The Nike Ja 3 Turns Into a Zombie for a Halloween Release

Last week, Nike Basketball took over the latest SNKRS Showcase to unveil a ton of upcoming product. One thing they neglected to show us was the Halloween edition of the Ja 3, which features GITD materials and a zombie theme.

Last week heralded the return of Nike’s SNKRS Showcase series, a livestream hosted in their app to give us early looks at some of the best sneakers from upcoming seasons. This edition was focused entirely on their Basketball division, giving us early looks at both retro and performance styles, and unveiling a range of new products. Teasers included our first official look at the GT Future, Foamposite retros like the “Pine Green” style, and player signatures like the Halloween edition KD18.

Ja Morant’s next signature model, the Ja 3, was also present during the show, unveiled in a pack of graffiti-inspired styles. However, they did not share the Halloween-inspired look that will release alongside the KD18 pair. Coming in October, the Ja 3 “Zombie” brings a bold green style to the sneaker, mixing shades of green across its textile base and rubberized overlay. The entirety of these rubberized pieces glow in the dark, as seen below, and the look adds brown laces, red Swoosh outlines, and a toothy lace ornament to complete the look.

NIKE JA 3 “ZOMBIE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming “Zombie” edition of the Nike Basketball Ja 3 will release alongside their other Halloween-themed sneakers, expected on October 21st, 2025. Dressed in shades of green with red accents and glow-in-the-dark features, pairs will likely be available through Nike and select retailers like FootLocker for $140.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Baroque Brown” is Now Available

Air Jordan leaks are the lifeblood of the sneaker rumor mill, with new styles and colorways surfacing months ahead of their actual releases. This week, a new Air Jordan 1 High joins that club, dressed in a mix of “Baroque Brown” and “Light Madder Root” shades, coming in 2025.

Jordan Brand releases are usually the highlight of new and upcoming sneaker news. In the past few years, we’ve been hearing about new styles far ahead of their launch dates, with mockup photos to accompany each new rumor, speculating on the colors and color blocking of each look. This week, a new Air Jordan 1 High for late 2025 has emerged, with an interesting color combo of Baroque Brown and Light Madder Root.

The pair shown in the mockup features a Sail white leather base for its upper, with the baroque brown shade making up the shoe’s suede overlay panels. The pale red Madder Root color is applied to the shoe’s collar and Swoosh elements. Once again, this is just a speculative mockup and not likely to be the final look of the shoe when it releases next year.

AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH “BAROQUE BROWN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The new color scheme of the Air Jordan 1 High is currently expected to arrive sometime in Fall 2025. Seen here only in a speculative mockup, the brown and light red style will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $180.
