Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant now has two signature performance shoes with Nike under his belt. This year, the two will venture into the lifestyle space, with an exclusive Air Force 1 Low “Sundial”, coming this holiday season.

The Nike Air Force 1 is still synonymous with basketball culture, over forty years after its initial introduction in the early 1980s. The silhouette is has transcended to bridge the gap between sport and street styles, and is one of the pillars of modern-day sneaker culture as we know it. Nike has outfitted the AF1 in thousands of new styles and updates over the years, and its ties to basketball remain relevant with special player-edition releases, like the slew of upcoming Kobe pairs, including a Protro edition of the iconic silhouette.

This week, news broke of the latest player-edition model that will be coming later this year, in partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant. Morant has a signature performance shoe with Nike, but recently teased a pair of the Air Force 1 to match a bright yellow colorway of his Ja 2. Thanks to @brandon1an, we now know this pair is currently scheduled to release during the holiday 2025 season. The look comes in a bright “Sundial” yellow color scheme, paired with a black midsole, tongue, collar, and finished with patent leather Swooshes and heel counters. Morant’s logo is stamped into the outside heel of each shoe.

Philadelphia boutique retailer Lapstone & Hammer turns ten years old in 2025. To celebrate the huge milestone, the store has turned to a frequent partner, Asics, to release an anniversary edition of their GEL-1130 runner.

This century has marked a huge rise in sneaker culture, with plenty of new stores and brands rising up in the modern era of collaboration. Boutique stores are a favorite partner of footwear brands, offering a unique perspective on shoes as well as a dedicated space to showcase their products. One of the best over the last decade is Lapstone & Hammer, who frequently uses their strong relationship with Asics for special projects like their indigo dip-dye collection, or contributing to the upcoming GEL-Cumulus 16 “Tomo” release.

This year, Lapstone is turning ten years old, a huge milestone for an retailer in the rocky economic landscape of the last decade. To celebrate the store’s anniversary, L&H has turned once more to Asics to create a celebratory pair of the GEL-1130 runner. Arguably one of the best Asics retros in recent years, the shoe releases this weekend. The look features a soft cream white shade for the mesh base, and applies synthetic overlays in a shimmering metallic silver. Black accents are sprinkled throughout the shoe, while a gold finish completes the look.

The Fragment x Union Air Jordan 1 High in Black & White Releases Spring 2026

Fragment and Union’s releases of the Air Jordan 1 are some of the most sought-after pairs on the aftermarket. Next year, the two will join forces, merging their iconic design choices into one. This week we have the first in-hand look at the white & black style, coming in 2026.

The story of an ultra grail in the world of sneakers is hard to ignore. When I started collection, living, and breathing sneakers in the early 2010s the sneaker of the moment was the 2014 Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High. The pair was and is an incredibly difficult to get release, and still fetches a hefty $1,500 these days. Los Angeles retailer Union has a similar story. Released in 2018, their first project featuring the AJ1 remains nearly unobtainable, unless you’re willing to pay up to $1,200 for the “Storm Blue” style. Over the last few years, leaks and rumors have pointed to a three-way release joining these two famous collaborators, dropping next year.

After two years of rumors, pairs of a Fragment x Union Air Jordan 1 finally started to surface over the last eight months. Fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara has been spotted wearing them, and early samples & production pairs have found their way into the hands of specialty dealers. This week, we have our first in-hand look at a black & white pair Hiroshi wore earlier this Summer. The look paints the iconic silhouette in a very simple neutral color blocking. Black toe box, Swoosh, and heel & collar overlays, and everything else in sheer white. The collar features Union’s stitching element and a flash of royal blue, while Fragment’s signature stamp appears on the outer heels.

FRAGMENT X UNION X AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH OG “BLACK/WHITE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming collaboration between Fragment and Union has still not been officially unveiled or announced, but pairs are rumored to release during the Spring/Summer 2026 season. The back & white pair seen here is the first instance we’ve seen of this color not on Hiroshi’s feet, meaning production and sampling is well underway. Pairs will likely be incredibly hard to get, and will release from Nike, Union, and select retailers for $200.

atmos’ 11th Edition adidas ZX-8000 “G-SNK” Releases Next Week

0

atmos and adidas are back this month with yet another entry in their long-running “G-SNK” series. Highlighting the ZX 8000 in glow-in-the-dark and snakeskin details, the 11th edition showcases the fan-favorite “Turquoise” colorway from the ZX 9000.

The G-SNK series from atmos and adidas started way back in 2011. Short for ‘Glow Snake’, the project does exactly what the name suggests, applying snakeskin and GITD details to iconic adidas sneakers. The first release featured beloved ZX 8000 in its OG “Aqua” color scheme, but the series took an extended hiatus until 2019. The project was revived with a special pair of the NMD_R1, before reverting to the ZX family once more in 2020. Since then, they’ve released six more projects in the series, each paying homage to an icon from the ZX line.

This week, atmos unveiled their 11th entry in the G-SNK series, once again celebrating a fan-favorite color scheme from the ZX line, the 9000’s OG “Turquoise” color scheme. The look sports a minty green mesh base layer, with a more saturated hue making up the silhouette’s main leather overlay panels. Mid layer pieces come in plain white, while bright blue Three Stripes adorn either side of the shoe. Finally, red accents complete the color palette. Of course, the snakeskin texture is applied to the shoe’s main body panels, and that texture shows through when the glow-in-the-dark pieces are fully charged.

This marks the 11th edition of the series, and uses the ZX 8000 as its canvas once again, but repurposes the fan-favorite “Turquoise” ZX9000 color scheme for the release. First Look at the Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low Coming Holiday 2025

Nike SB produces some of the best collaborations under the Swoosh banner, teaming up with skate shops, brands, and artists for their take on an iconic sneaker. This week, we have our first full look at the Bronx Girls Skate Dunk Low, coming holiday 2025.

Established in 2020 during the pandemic, Bronx Girls Skate was founded with the goal of “celebrating and growing women’s skateboarding in The Bronx and beyond”. The collective was founded by two friends, Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez, both well established in skate culture of New York City. The group has grown extensively in the last five years, adding plenty of new members and rolling up to skateparks as a sizable crew, one that is known to the locals.

This year, BGS is getting their first skate shoe collaboration, with none other than Nike SB, a team best known for their ability to seek out and elevate individual skaters and groups. Their project, like many, will focus on the SB Dunk Low, bringing that signature BX style to the silhouette. The look features a blacked-out palette for most of the shoe’s layers, adding a pebbled texture that gives the shoe a shimmering appearance. Swooshes come in a reflective white leather, while twill piping has been added to each of the shoe’s panels, featuring a gradient coloring that adds colorful accents in red, orange, and green.

Where to Buy the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft Mars Yard 3.0

0

Nike has officially announced the return of its collaboration with New York artist Tom Sachs after reviewing its partnership, which had been paused in 2023 due to allegations against Sachs. This announcement marks a significant turning point in their relationship as Nike prepares to resume work on the highly anticipated NikeCraft Mars Yard 3.0.

The upcoming release continues the Mars Yard legacy, which began with the NikeCraft Mars Yard in 2012, followed by the Mars Yard 2.0 in 2017. The original sneaker had a niche following, but the Mars Yard 2.0 quickly became a favorite among sneakerheads, renowned for its distinctive design and rarity. Unworn pairs of the 2.0 still fetch thousands on resale platforms, solidifying its place as one of Nike’s standout models of the 2010s.

Nike paused its partnership with Sachs after reports surfaced alleging that Sachs fostered a volatile work environment. These allegations, published by Curbed in March 2023, detailed accounts of Sachs’ mistreatment of employees, including verbal outbursts and inappropriate behavior. Sachs responded by defending himself in an email to his studio, where he denied intentionally harming anyone and announced plans to formalize HR policies. Nike expressed deep concern over the reports and took time to assess its partnership with the artist.

Now, Nike is ready to move forward, citing Sachs’ recommitment to creating a respectful and inclusive workplace. In a statement, Nike confirmed: “Tom has demonstrated and recommitted to fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity… This next chapter of NikeCraft will uphold our shared passion for team, product, and storytelling excellence.” Sachs also expressed excitement about continuing the collaboration, sharing that the Mars Yard 3.0 is in its final stages of development and undergoing wear tests.

The NikeCraft Mars Yard 3.0 promises to build on the success of its predecessors, maintaining the unique design elements that have made the line so iconic. A teaser image featuring the inside tongue of the shoe with text identifying it as the Mars Yard 3.0 has already stirred excitement among fans.

Justin Bieber Unveils a New SKYLRK Runner Silhouette

More new footwear from Justin Bieber’s SKYLRK is on the way this year. After launching the footwear line this Summer with slides and mules, the Biebs has teased an upcoming sneaker silhouette, a mesh & synthetic tech runner.

This year, Bieber is launching a new exploration of footwear and clothing, under the name SKYLRK. We first took notice of the project earlier this Summer, when Bieber teased a number of footwear options including mules and slides, which arrived quickly afterward in July. Since then, both Bieber and the SKYLRK Instagram have shown off new and upcoming releases, and this week Bieber himself shared an early look at a new tech runner-style sneaker, which has caught our interest.

No information regarding this new SKYLRK silhouette has been made available yet, but we will be keeping an eye out for this release. Earlier this year a similar mesh and synthetic tech runner was teased, but this new silhouette appears to be an entirely different model. The new pair features a heftier midsole unit than the previous early look, which is segmented into smaller pods similar to something like the New Balance 9060. The upper leans on the popular ‘Y2K’ aesthetic of mesh and synthetic overlays, with an organic-looking plastic cage housing the mesh base. Two colorways were shared, both featuring a white base and adding the cage system in either pink or baby blue.

SKYLRK MESH RUNNER RELEASE INFORMATION

Justin Bieber has not announced any concrete details regarding the latest sneaker silhouette from SKYLRK, but based on their latest product tease, we could see this shoe arrive later in 2025. The new silhouette is currently nameless, but follows the Y2K aesthetic of mesh and synthetic running shoes, currently popular with Asics and New Balance. Pairs will be avialable exclusively through the brand’s website.

The Stone Island x New Balance 574 “Ghost” Pack Releases in September

0

Stone Island and New Balance’s collaborative releases largely fly under the radar since their first team-up in 2022. The latest project is especially low-key, dressing the 574 in monotone shades for the “Ghost” collection.

Stone Island’s Ghost line is a recurring capsule collection built around monochrome design and camouflage-inspired subtlety. The Ghost label strips away bold branding and color contrast: even the Stone Island badge comes in tonal form to blend into each garment. It focuses on utilitarian, functional silhouettes; overshirts, field jackets, cargos, all crafted with technical and weather-aware fabrics like weatherproof cotton canvas, and new natural weaves like diagonal linen. For their upcoming Fall Ghost collection, SI has teamed up with New Balance for a trio of monotone 574 styles, releasing next week.

The new release from Stone Island and New Balance blends the classic 574 seamlessly into the Italian brand’s Ghost sublabel. The release features three pairs of the retro trainer, each constructed entirely from a soft suede, and dressed in a monotone palette from toe to heel, including the tongue badges. Even the midsoles are color matched through a suede wrapping. Colorways lean into SI’s typical palette, with pairs available in dark grey, dark brown, and an inky navy blue tone.

STONE ISLAND X NEW BALANCE 574 “GHOST” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest project from Stone Island and New Balance has been scheduled to release next week, on September 23rd, 2025. Featuring the 574 in a trio of monotone colors for the “Ghost” pack, pairs will be available through the SI website, though you will need to have an account and be logged in to purchase. Pairs will also be available in-person at all Stone Island stores, and a selection of boutiques in Asia. Check their release info page for the full list of those stores. No word yet on a wider NB release, or the price for each pair.

First Look at the Air Max 95 OG “Grape” Retro Releasing Summer 2026

The Air Max 95 has been on an impressive string of releases this year, with Nike celebrating thirty years of the iconic runner. This week, we have our first look at an upcoming retro release, bringing back the OG “Grape” colorway for Summer 2026.

Many of Nike’s most important silhouettes have been celebrating anniversaries this decade. The kickoff came in 2020 with the Air Max 90, and this year they are celebrating two hugely important sneakers, the 1985 Air Jordan 1, and the 1995 Air Max 95. The latter has been on an impressive run this year, releasing in new colorways almost every month, most of which come in the “Big Bubble” format. This version reengineered the shoe’s midsole to fit the original, larger, specs of the Air bags, finally delivering Sergio Lozano’s original vision for the shoe.

This week, we have our first in-hand look at an important retro for the Air Max 95, one that has been mysteriously missing from the release calendar in 2025. The OG “Grape” colorway, debuted in 1995, will make a return next Summer. The look is one of the lighter color schemes from the shoe’s original run, featuring white as its main hue instead of dark grey or black. As you would expect from a proper retro, the look features the iconic Grape purple shade for the lacing system and tongue, with a hint of Emerald Green for the Air bags and Nike branding.

NIKE AIR MAX 95 OG “GRAPE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest OG colorway of Nike’s Air Max 95 to surface for a retro is expected to release in Summer 2026, but does not have a set drop date yet. Originally released for the shoe’s debut run in 1995, the fan-favorite color scheme will return this time with the new Big Bubble midsole format. Pairs will release from both Nike and select retailers, and is expected to retain the current $190 price tag.

The Air Jordan 3 OG “True Blue” Will Return in Fall 2026

Air Jordan 3 OG True Blue 2016 release
2016 Release Shown

Jordan Brand’s archives are full of classic and iconic sneakers, with fan-favorite colorways that are constantly being reinterpreted. This week, the Air Jordan 3’s OG “True Blue” look has leaked as a potential retro release for Fall 2026.

The Air Jordan 3 has been widely regarded as one of the best mainline Jordan models since the shoe debuted back in 1988. Cited alongside many of the early numbered pairs like 1s, 4s, 5s, and more (sorry AJ2, I still love you), the 3 remains an essential piece of the Jordan catalog to this day, though it presents as a lifestyle shoe in 2025. The 3 was our introduction to the elephant print pattern now synonymous with Jordan retros, as well as introducing the semi-controversial Jumpman logo, replacing the Nike Air and Wings logos previously seen on Jordan models.

This week, we have a new leak for the 2026 release calendar, and its a good one. Next Fall, the OG “True Blue” colorway of the Air Jordan 3 will return, after its last retro release in 2016. Decades and multiple retro releases later, this colorway still hits just as hard. The look features a pristine white leather upper, two-tone grey elephant print panels, and accents on deep royal blue and Varsity Red. As of now, it is unclear if this 3 release will feature the Nike Air or Jumpman logo on the heels.

AIR JORDAN 3 OG “TRUE BLUE” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next release of an OG colorway for the Air Jordan 3 has not been announced yet, but is currently expected to arrive during the Fall 2026 season. The classic “True Blue” style is coming back about ten years after its last release in 2016, and is a must for longtime fans of the model. Pairs will be avialable through both Nike and select retailers for an expected $220.

The 2007 Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” Sample Releases Globally in Spring 2026

Jordan Brand has gone deep on their archives over the past year, delivering ultra-limited or previously mythical-level styles to the masses with wide releases. Next year, the “Orange Citrus” Air Jordan 3 sample from 2007 is getting that treatment, releasing in the Spring.

Jordan Brand has produced some of the most iconic sneakers in the world over the last twenty-five years. Some of these pairs were limited in nature, given only to select athletes, made exclusively for the brand’s F&F, or just straight up hard to get, like the Undefeated Jordan 4. Others never even saw the light of day, made as one-off samples to test ideas or specific colors, only to be shelved in the brand’s archives in perpetuity. One of these shelved samples is the 2007 “Orange Citrus” Air Jordan 3, which is now rumored to release to the public in 2026.

The simple white and orange color scheme of the Air Jordan 3 first appeared back in 2007, or at least, was commissioned by an employee at Jordan in that year. Currently, one pair resides in the hands of the general public, owned by Index Portland, a well-known consignment store that has a knack for getting their hands on rare Nike product. The look sports a crisp white leather upper with small hints of grey for the plastic inserts. The elephant print panels add the bright orange color accent, which also appears on the outsoles and inner linings. The Jumpman logo on the heel comes in Fire Red to complete the look.

AIR JORDAN 3 “ORANGE CITRUS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Previously only a mythical sample originating in 2007, the Air Jordan 3 in “Orange Citrus” is now expected to release publicly next year, on April 25th, 2026. The clean white style with an orange trim has been sitting and waiting patiently for a public release for nearly two decades, and will land at both Nike and select retailers when it arrives. Pairs are expected to cost $205.

The Air Max Plus Stars in the Next Eastside Golf x Nike Collection

Eastside Golf has been cooking with Nike over the last few years. This week, their next Swoosh collaboration surfaced ahead of an official unveiling. The star of the show is this Air Max Plus, featuring a reworked cage to add Eastside’s branding to the silhouette.

Eastside Golf is a lifestyle-apparel brand founded in 2019 by Morehouse College golf teammates Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, aimed at making golf more inclusive & culturally relevant. They combine streetwear vibe with classic golf elements, using bold graphics, script/dance-like branding, and their signature “Swingman” logo of a Black man in casual attire swinging a club. Several years ago, Eastside landed a partnership with Nike, crafting collections of footwear and apparel for the course through the Swoosh lens.

This week, the next footwear from Eastside Golf’s next Nike released has surfaced, ahead of its presumed Fall release. The project will include the Victory Tour 4 as the dedicated golf shoe, but the Air Max Plus also makes an appearance with some unique changes to make it applicable to the fairways. The first and more minor change is the outsole, which features larger traction spikes better suited for grass. The main change is the shoe’s plastic cage system, which has been reworked to say EASTSIDE across the lateral wall of the shoe. The entire silhouette comes in shades of blue, mixing Aluminum, University, and Blue Void hues.

EASTSIDE GOLF X NIKE AIR MAX PLUS “ALUMINUM” RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest collaboration from Eastside Golf and Nike does not have a release date yet, but is still expected to release sometime in Fall 2025. The project features the Air max Plus as the adapted lifestyle shoe for this collection, dressed in a soft “Aluminum” blue colorway and adding a reworked cage system. Pairs will be available through both partners, but no pricing info is currently available.
