Reebok’s “International Foods” series announced three new releases this week, including a project with Berlin’s Overkill. Using the Classic Leather as their canvas, the two are paying homage to street kebabs with this special edition release.
Reebok’s global tour of cuisine continues this month with another entry in the ongoing “International Foods” series of special edition footwear collaborations. This week, we have our first look at Overkill’s take on the Reebok Classic that pays homage to Doner Kebab sandwiches, a staple in German street food.
The Overkill x Reebok Classic applies a fresh coat of paint to the storied silhouette, framing it in a dark look to help the bold kebab logos stand out. Constructed in the Classic’s initial leather build, the Overkill collaboration covers the entire shoe in black, possibly as a reference to the black tennis shoes typical seen inside of professional kitchens. The laces feature a black & white zebra-like pattern, while the tongue labels have been reworked to feature the Doner kebab logo as well as Overkill’s dual strikes superimposed over Reebok’s circular branding. Both partner’s logos are repeated on the insoles to complete the look.

The next installment in Reebok’s “international Foods” series, the Overkill Classic Leather “Doner”, is scheduled to release next week on July 27th, 2019. The sleek black silhouette will retail for approximately $105 USD, and release both in-store and online.
