Salomon’s highly-advanced footwear has been growing more and more popular amongst sneaker heads. This week, the French outdoor brand makes a full transition to lifestyle shoes, debuting a special collaboration with OrganicLab.zip.
OrganicLab.zip has been dominating the Instagram moodboard/archive page scene, amassing over 120,000 Instagram followers as well as a robust following on Patreon for the more avid enthusiast or researcher. In over 800 posts on their IG feed, several brands have slowly become common themes throughout OrganicLab posts, and the most popular would probably be Salomon. Plenty of outdoor gear graces the OrganicLab page, but Salomon footwear appears to be a favorite of whoever runs the account, posting archival pairs on a nearly daily basis. Luckily for them, that devotion has paid off, as the two released their first collaboration this week, officially joining the worlds of footwear design and the appreciation of such on the internet, and I, for one, could not be happier. Taking on the Salomon XA Pro-1 for this project, the OrganicLab.zip edition reworks the mesh upper in two tones, the lateral sides in black, while the medial side comes in a dusty shade of purple. The rest of the shoe is almost entirely framed in black, save for the Salomon Advanced logo on each tongue, and small hints of red across the outsoles.

The OrganicLab.zip x Salomon Advanced XA Pro-1, the first signature sneaker from the archive account, launched today from the French footwear brand and is still currently available from select retailers like Ssense.
