Although most recognized for his time with the Seattle Mariners, Ken Griffey also spent some time on the Cincinnati Reds which will be celebrated on this new Nike Air Griffey Max 1 offering.
The Kid spent a total of eight years with the Cincinnati Reds from 2000-2008. Scheduled for an official colorway of Pure Platinum, University Red, and White, the sneaker is set to feature a platinum leather and nubuck upper which features a two-toned grey upper, which is of course paired with University Red accents across Nike Swoosh logos on the toes and the Nike branded ankle straps. A white rubber midsole with red accents, a red Air unit, and a red outsole underneath completes the design.
