Nike will be extending their Air Griffey Max 1 collection with yet another “Freshwater” design that features a black and teal makeover.
With the Swingman collection releasing soon, Ken Griffey JR has been shown a bunch of love as of late by Nike and honestly, we’re here for it. With the Griffey Max 1 dropping in a handful of colors at the beginning of this year, Nike will be going back to the basics with another Freshwater design. Dressed in Black, Freshwater, White, and Varsity Red, the offering is another direct nod to the Seattle Mariners, the silhouette arrives back in its OG form of a Freshwater base with black nubuck overlays. White detailing is added to the sneaker via the Nike Swoosh logos, lacing system, and the 24 branded heel strap while a dark sole system is added underneath.
