During their SNKRS Showcase preview event last Fall, Nike showed off a retro of the ACG Rufus, a slip-on mule originally released in 2001. Now, we have a release date for the “Limestone” debut, coming in May.

Nike has a wide range of archival silhouettes getting their first-ever retro release this year. Several of these older models were shown during the SNKRS Showcase event in 2023, spreading releases out through 2024. Some of these models include the ACG Air Exploraid, and the Air Max Sunder, both originally released in the ’90s. This week, we got an official look at the ACG Rufus, a 2001 clog-style silhouette combiing a single-piece leather upper with a chunky midsole. For its initial release, the Rufus will come in a “Limestone” tan color, which covers its suede upper and outsole, adding a black midsole to avoid a monotone look.
