Nike ACG showed off a number of upcoming releases during the SNKRS Showcase event last week, including a remastered retro of the Air Exploraid in ‘Ash Green’, a 1999 trail shoe returning for its 25th anniversary.
Nike’s SNKRS Showcase livestream last week has given us plenty of releases to look forward to in 2024, from retro Co.JP Dunks to fresh Air Max styles. During the event, the ACG styles took over the show for a solid portion, unveiling a handful of retro releases as well as some new styles to expect next year. The fan-favorite of the bunch was far and away the Air Exploraid, a hiking shoe originally released in 1999. Now, the ACG team is preparing to rerelease the model for its twenty-fifth anniversary next year. Seen here in its OG ‘Ash Green’ color scheme, the model features a black mesh base for the upper, with the tongue pieces added in a form-fitting neoprene bootie. Leather overlays are added in Ash Green and light grey, both featuring cutouts to show whats underneath, while vintage Nike and ACG logos complete the look.

Nike ACG’s first-ever retro release of the Exploraid has not been given an official date yet, though the launch will commence in February 2024, with the ‘Ash Green’ color scheme seen here. Pairs are expected to release from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $140.
