New Balance is slowly rolling out their seasonal collection of the Made in USA line, with this week bringing us an official look at a new brown and purple 990v2, coming soon.
The Made in USA line from New Balance has seen an abundance of popular releases this year, thanks to the project’s new creative director, Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore. Featuring a number of 990 variant silhouettes, the debut line finished up late last Summer, before the current seasonal collection was unveiled in early Fall. Amongst this lineup was a selection of dark brown styles, which feature colorful accents in purple and orange. We first saw the 990v3 in this style last year, and now, its predecessor, the v2, has surfaced in a matching look. Beginning with a dark purple mesh base layer, the toes and heels add medium grey mid layers, before decking out the outside in dark brown suedes. The laces and ‘N’ logos come in white, with the latter featuring a bright orange outline, which is matched by the shoe’s inner lining.
