New Balance 998 Made in USA Grey CreamThe New Balance 998 has become a fully-fledged member of the Made in USA program this year, introducing new colorways like this upcoming ‘Grey/Cream’ pair with each seasonal collection.

The New Balance 998 was originally introduced in 1993, building on the growing legacy of the 99x family with a sleek new addition. The model was the first-ever NB shoe to utilize their Abzorb cushioning, which continues to appear on their footwear to this day. Now revived for its thirtieth anniversary, the model has joined the Made in USA line under the creative direction of Teddy Santis. This week, we got our first look at one of the shoe’s next releases, which sticks with the brand’s signature neutral palette. The look begins with a cream white mesh base layer, adding light grey pigskin suede outer layers. Hints of black appear in between, while cream white laces, midsoles, and plastic components complete the look.
