The New Balance 991v2 has become a fairly popular model from the Boston brand, despite having launched late last year. This week, we got an early look at the “Blue Silver” and “Rosewood” Made in England pairs, dropping next week.
New Balance recently revamped their 2001 991 model, updating the silhouette for a new v2 iteration with a different midsole and some revised panelling. Now, the model has become a staple in their recent releases, and has been featured in several collaborations with the likes of Stone Island, Patta, and Danielle Cathari. This week, a two-pack of colorways from the Made in England line have emerged, coloring the silhouette in “Blue Silver” and “Rosewood” color schemes. Both styles share the same light grey mesh base with tan leather mid layers and tongue overlays. The darker look features a steely blue shade paired with dark grey for its outer layers, with bright orange accents. The “Rosewood” style mixes light and dark shades of muted red, and adds a neon green accent.
