New Balance has a fresh set of colors for their Made in UK 991 on the way this week. Inspired by an “Urban Winter”, both light and dark colorways of the retro runner drop tomorrow.

New Balance’s Made in UK program has a new release of the 991 ready to drop this week, crafting two colorways of the 2001 model with colorways inspired by the “Urban Winter” landscape. Both pairs feature some minor material changes, swapping out the usual mesh base layer for a more weather-proof ripstop textile. Pigskin suede make up the outermost layers of the shoes, with textured coated leather in between. The first pair is the ‘light’ look of the pack, featuring a pelican white color with accents in island fossil and roasted cashew shades of brown. The ‘dark’ look arrives prominently in black, with accent colors described as ‘turbulence’ and ‘monument’, though its easier to refer to them as a faded blue with brown and grey layers mixed in.

New Balance’s latest release of the Made in UK 991 has been scheduled to drop tomorrow, December 7th, 2023. Inspired by urban landscapes in winter months, the “Urban Winter” pack will be available in two colorways, direct from the brand’s website for $260 each.
