New Balance’s Made lines bring some of their iconic silhouettes to life through premium materials and fresh colorways. This week, the 991 Made in UK surfaced in a ‘Brown Rice’ color scheme, coming soon.

New Balance’s releases from their Made in UK program have slowed down a bit this year, as they continue to push Teddy Santis’ USA-manufactured line around the world. Nonetheless, the Flimby, England facility is still pushing their handcrafted pairs of iconic models like the 991. Following on the heels of pairs of this month’s ‘Star White‘ look, a new pair in a ‘Brown Rice’ color scheme has surfaced, releasing sometime soon. The look begins with a soft tan shade for the mesh base layer, adding white leather mid layers on top. The outer layers of the upper come in the signature Brown Rice tone, while navy blue accents adorn the ‘N’ logos, heels and tongues.

New Balance’s latest colorway of the 991 Made in UK has not been given a set release date yet, though pairs are expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks from the New Balance website and select retailers. Featuring a soft ‘Brown Rice’ leather upper, they come with the usual price tag of $220.
