Featuring a more angular design than its successor, the 991 is constructed from a nearly identical upper mounted on an older model of tooling, creating a sleek runner with a large rear section. This week, New Balance released their latest MADE 991, which decks out the premium silhouette in shades of brown. The suede base layer is the lightest of the bunch, with each overlay growing darker until the outermost pieces are dressed in a dark chocolate tone.
