The New Balance 99x series has received a lot of love from fans in the past few years, and the Boston brand is serving up more than we can handle through new colorways and projects. This week, the sleek 991 MADE hit shelves dressed in the new “Bluesman” look.

The New Balance 99x series is everywhere in 2020, from the return of the 992 to JoeFreshGoods’ killer All-Star Weekend project. As the year’s early releases continue their run of popularity, the Boston-based footwear brand is rolling our even more excellent options for their fans, focusing on the silhouettes we all know and love. This week, the famous 991 surfaced in a new color option, set to release in the coming weeks. Featuring a Made in UK construction, the latest 991 goes by the title of “Bluesman”, aptly named for its all-over navy blue construction. From the mesh base layer to the pigskin suede overlays, nearly every inch of this pair comes in dark blue, save for the tongue’s New Balance branding, and a hit of baby blue on the heel tabs.
