New Balance recently debuted their long-awaited 990v6 silhouette, releasing a Made in USA version in their classic grey colorway. Now, new pairs are beginning to emerge, including this navy & grey look for 2023.
After originally being teased in Fall of 2021, New Balance finally released their next evolution in the 990 family tree, the 990v6. Beefing up the silhouette’s sole unit and slimming down the upper with clean new lines, the shoe made its debut in the brand’s essential grey colorway and constructed in the Made in USA fashion. Now, new colorways of the model are beginning to emerge, teasing some of the releases for 2023. The latest look mixes the quintessential NB grey with their signature navy tone, applying the later to the shoe’s mid layers, ‘N’ logos, and tongues, while the rest is cast in the stony grey shade. Finally, the midsole mixes a white forefoot with cream and tan accents in the heel.
NEW BALANCE 990V6 NAVY & GREY RELEASE INFORMATION
New Balance has yet to announce any more releases of their new 990v6 silhouette, though we expect to see plenty arrive in stores throughout 2023. This week’s emergence of the navy & grey pair will likely join them, releasing from both New Balance’s website and select retailers for $200. UPDATE 5/5/23: New Balance has unveiled this year’s ‘Grey Day‘ collection, which includes this clean new color scheme of the 990v6. This year’s releases feature nearly a dozen silhouettes, including popular models like the 550, 9060, and plenty of 99x styles.
UPDATE 4/23/23: New Balance’s official images of their grey and navy 990v6 have surfaced, indicating the release is likely on the way soon. No official date yet, but the smooth look will be available from the NB site and select retailers for $200.
