The 990v6 from New Balance is one of the few silhouettes that is strictly part of the Made in USA program. This month, the models returns in more new colors for the Made Seasonal Collection from Teddy Santis, including a smooth “Castlerock” neutral grey look, coming soon.
New Balance wrapped up their latest Seasonal Collection late in June, taking a break from the Made in USA line for all of July, instead focusing on releasing a number of collaborative projects. Now, new styles from the franchise creative directed by Teddy Santis have emerged, bringing us several new styles of the 990v6 for this round of releases.
The latest member of the MiUSA family surfaced this week, ahead of an expected mid-August release this month. The most recent update to the iconic 990 running shoe, the v6 is ripe for unique layering and mixed color palettes, and this “Castlerock” look, while remaining neutral, makes full use of those traits. The look begins with a “Moonrock” tan shade for its mesh base and leather mid layers, adding the dark grey shade for its suede outer portions. White linings and laces balance out the two tones, with all three present on the midsole to complete the look.
