New Balance’s Made in USA releases have ramped up this Summer, led by the new creative director Teddy Santis. Next week, the 990v3 is set to release in a bold new ‘Scarlet’ red color scheme.
Teddy Santis’ first collection as the creative director behind New Balance’s Made in USA releases has taken the footwear world by storm. So far, we’ve seen multiple release of the 990v1, v2, and v3, each crafted from top-tier materials and sporting timeless colorways using neutral palettes. Now, the ALD founder and designer is switching things up a bit, releasing some bright new styles to add to the project. This week, we got our first official look at the New Balance 990v3 in a striking ‘Scarlet’ color scheme, releasing alongside with a ‘Chrysanthemum‘ style of the 990v2. This v3 is bold, beginning with a dark red mesh underlay and finished with loud ‘Scarlet’ red tones from toe to heel. The layers are broken up by Marblehead grey pieces, while a simple white and grey midsole completes the new look.

New Balance’s next colorway of the Teddy Santis-designed 990v3 Made in USA has been scheduled to release next week, on July 28th, 2022. The bold ‘Scarlet’ red & grey color scheme will be available from New Balance’s launches page and select retailers with a price tag of $200.
