New Balance’s 990v1 from 1982 arrived in a remastered format this year, dressing in a wealth of color schemes for the fortieth anniversary. This week, a ‘Dark Olive’ look for the Made in USA show surfaced, coming soon.

Business is booming for New Balance, as the classic American brand continues to deliver excellent releases from their Made in USA line under the creative direction of Teddy Santis. Spanning the early versions of the 990 family, another edition of the 990v1 surfaced this week, and is expected to arrive in stores sometime in the next few weeks. Beginning with an eggshell white canvas base layer, the shoe’s signature suede overlays come in a shady ‘Dark Olive’ color, adding a pale tan hint at the heels, and jet black ‘N’ logos on either side. Flashes of red on the tongue labels and footbed complete the palette.
