New Balance’s vintage sneakers are a hit right now, thanks to their classic silhouettes and luxurious comfort. This week, the Boston-based brand released a new coloray of the fan-favorite 577 Made in England, perfect for casual Fall wear.

The New Balance 577 originally debuted in the 1980s as a subtle change of pace for the brand. At the time, New Balance found that their runners were looking for a more high-tech, forward-leaning shape, helping to propel them forward. The 577 was the first venture in this direction, offering a steeper drop in the toe box accompanied by a soft, compression-resistant EVA rubber sole. Since then, the 577 has been transitioned into a more casual model, perfect for those who are walking long distances at once or standing on their feet all day. The latest release of the classic silhouette begins with a plain black mesh base layer, reinforced suede overlays in a beautiful shade of brown. The ankle and heel of the shoe come in hot pink for a flash of color, while the usual ENCAP midsole completes the look.
