New Balance’s 577 runner is not exactly the most popular sneaker in the brand’s lineup, but its history in the running world make it more than just a classic style. This week, we have an early look at a new Made in England “Desaturated” color, coming soon.

New Balance’s MADE series is the source of some of the highest quality sneakers available on the market, transforming everyday NB silhouettes into top-of-the-line premium versions. These special-edition pairs are produced exclusively at a small handful of  manufacturing facilities where they receive extra care and quality assurance; several based in Maine and Massachusetts in the United States, and one in Flimby, England. The latter of these two is the source of New Balance’s latest colorway of the 577, a classic road runner beloved by NB heads the world over. The latest edition casts the 577 Made in England in a new “Desaturated” color scheme, mixing various brown tones with muted purple and orange shades across the suede and mesh upper for an eye-catching look and clean style.
