New Balance has nonstop releases of the 550 retro basketball shoe lined up for the rest of the year, and still more colorways continue to surface. This week, we got our first look at the new ‘Rain Cloud’ grey look, coming soon.

New Balance’s retro 550 basketball shoe has emerged in a wide range of new colorways in the last few weeks, with plenty more on the way. Fleshing out their Fall and Winter 2022 lineup, the Boston footwear brand has unveiled another new addition to the silhouette’s arsenal this week, decorating the shoe in ‘Rain Cloud’ grey suedes. This pair features a near-tonal grey look, broken up by plain white tongues, laces, and  New Balance ‘N’ logos, while a white midsole and cream outsole complete the look. This pair follows the same color blocking as the ‘Natural Indigo‘ pair we saw earlier today, so we expect them to release alongside one another.

New Balance’s latest colorway of the 550 has not been announced for release, though we expect to see them land in stores sometime in 2022. Dressed in a tonal ‘Rain Cloud’ look, pairs of the light grey style will be available from both New Balance’s website and select retailers for $110.
