The New Balance 550 basketball sneaker is back, and if the brand’s latest leaks are any indication, the retro model is here to stay. Take a look at fourteen new colorways of the vintage 550, all expected to drop throughout 2021.

New Balance’s initial in-line colorways of the P550 basketball oxford haven’t even released yet, and already the Boston brand has unveiled a massive lineup of color schemes on the way. After the return of the vintage silhouette late last year thanks to Aimé Leon Dore, the retro basketball model is prepping for a large scale drop, returning to a prominent position in the brand’s active lineup. While we knew the 550 would come back in general-release fashion in 2021, we weren’t quite aware to what extent New Balance would be ready to produce the shoe. Now, we have an early look at a total of fourteen colorways set to drop throughout the year, not including the black & grey pairs we saw early last week. Notable inclusions in the 550 lineup for the new year include green and yellow makeups, basic essentials like all white and team-inspired colorways like white with a single accent color.
