New Balance 2002R Soft PinkNew Balance’s 2002R has taken a backseat to other popular models in recent months, but they are returning to the fold this season in fresh colors. This week, we have an early look at a new pastel ‘Soft Pink’ colorway, coming soon.

New Balance first debuted their 2002R in 2010, as a top-of-the-line running sneaker. The silhouette quickly went dormant, fading into the brand’s archives until its revival in 2021, which took a strong hold on the sneaker world. Since then, the Boston brand has released dozens of styles of the retro model, with plenty of collaborations to help keep it going. While the model has slowed down its releases over the last year in favor of other retros like the 1906R, they still have some gas in the tank for new styles. This week, we got an early look at an upcoming ‘soft Pink’ style, which applies a pastel pink shade to the model’s mesh and suede upper. White accents help break up the palette, while metallic silver ‘N’ logos complete the look.

New Balance’s next colorway of their 2002R runner has not been announced for release, though pairs are expected to land on shelves sometime later in Summer 2023. The bright ‘Soft Pink’ color scheme will likely be available through New Balance’s website soon and select retailers for $140.
