New Balance’s 2002R has taken over the brand’s releases, rivaling the popularity of the 990 line. This week, a third colorway has joined the upcoming ‘Hiking Pack’, this time in triple black.

Last week, we got our first look at New Balance’s upcoming ‘Hiking Pack’ of the 2002R, which rebuilds the fan-favorite model in durable materials and details directly inspired by classic hiking boots. With two colorways already part of the collection, we now have an early look at the third pair to join in the fun. Dressed in triple black, this pair is much more subtle than its counterparts, utilizing the inky shade across all of its layers. However, this pair is not without some colorful accents, akin to ’90s styles. The rope laces come in a lush purple tone, matching the shoe’s Nergy cushioning in the heels, while hints of forest green appear on some of the branding as well as the heel counters.
