New Balance’s “Selected Edition” series is here, delivering a slew of high-quality sneakers from the brand’s Flimby, UK factory. First up is the 1591 hybrid, mixing two classic NB models, available now.

This week New Balance unveiled its new “Selected Edition” series, a project featuring some of the brand’s most beloved silhouettes, reconstructed and combined with their counterparts for a wild new look. To boot, the series is being produced solely in New Balance’s Flimby, UK production facility, ensuring the highest quality the brand has to offer. The special-edition series kicked off earlier this week, with the release of the 1591, a new hybrid sneaker that mixes the distance-running upper from the 1500 with the 991’s impeccable midsole. The result is a version of the 1500 that looks slightly more aggressive in its stance, as well as packing plenty of new cushioning under your feet. The 1591 features a highly unique color scheme, mixing a grey mesh base layer with various colors of leather overlays, including navy blue, gold, burgundy, and brown shades.
