New Balance’s MADE in England 1500 silhouette returns for another release this month, this time joining the recent 577 “Desert Scape” pack in its sandy-themed colorway.

New Balance’s factory in Flimby, England, has been pumping out special releases over the past year, seemingly taking on the entire workload for the MADE series as pairs from the USA continue to disappear from the market, with nothing new to replace them. This is fine with us, as the team in Flimby has crafted some of the best sneakers we’ve seen in recent years. This week, the 1500 emerged in a new Made in England color scheme that appears to be another piece of the “Desert Scape” pack that debuted with the 577 last month. This version of the 1500 mixes shades of brown to achieve the sandy desert look, which begins with a light brown tone for the mesh underlay and mudguard, while the quarter panels come in a subtle off-white tone. The heels carry the darkest shades on the shoe, with the suede heel counter a deep brown, while a slightly lighter shade occupies the collar of the 1500. New Balance’s MADE branding appears on the tongue in navy blue to complete the look.
