New Balance continues to celebrate its English factory’s 40th anniversary with regular releases. This week, the fan-favorite 1500 adds a new ‘Minimalist’ look, decking out the shoe in a near-tonal grey colorway.

New Balance’s footwear options are often celebrated for their attention to details and quality of both materials and construction. This is largely attributed to the brand’s commitment to making their sneakers in places like the United States and England, where they house special facilities specifically used to create the brand’s most prestigious releases. The latest of these comes from the Flimby, England facility, which is celebrating its fortieth year of operations in 2022. This Made in England 1500 dresses the shoe in a ‘Minimalist’ color scheme, which applies the signature New Balance Grey to nearly every panel of the shoe from toe to heel. The look is only broken up by a black midlayer, navy blue mesh, and mixed navy blue & salmon branding on the tongues.
