The New Balance 1300 triumphantly returned this year, marking another five years since its last appearance on NB release calendars. So, the Boston brand is churning out new colorways, like these tan & navy Made in USA options that released quietly this week.

The New balance 1300 is back this year, keeping on schedule with its regular releases every five years. 2020, however, has been a landmark year for New Balance so far, as the brand’s most popular lines are growing increasingly visible amongst higher fashion circles, from sneakerheads to runway shows. So, the celebration of 1985’s 1300 has had an added hype to it over the past couple of months. While New Balance’s special-edition releases of the vintage runner have held the majority of the attention, their in-line colorways have been some of the best releases so far, like the new navy blue and tan colorways that were unveiled earlier this week. Both pairs are Made in the USA, and constructed from a combination of perforated suede underlays and standard suede overlays. The navy blue pair features brighter aquamarine hits on the New Balance ‘N’ logo as well as the heel counter, while the tan pair features a baby blue ‘N’ outline as well as a burnt orange heel. Both pairs also feature subtle New Balance branding on the tongues, and Encap midsoles to complete the look.

New Balance’s next new colorways of the fan-favorite 1300 silhouette launched quietly earlier this week from Kith, though pairs are likely limited by this point. These Made in the USA colors comes with a price tag of $170, and will likely see a wider release from select New Balance accounts in the coming weeks.
