Mountain Research and Reebok have another project lined up for 2022, following up on their shrouded Club C Mid from this Summer. Featuring the Beatnik, the sandal takes on premium leathers and embroidered details, coming soon.
Japanese brand Mountain Research and Reebok’s collaboration is still going strong, delivering unique versions of classic footwear from the British brand. Earlier this year, the two released a Club C Mid featuring covers over the lacing system, and now it appears the longtime partners have another project in the works for 2022. Featuring the Reebok Beatnik sandal, the popular and versatile model from 1994, MR’s take on the multipurpose shoe ups the ante for the model, reconstructing the simple upper from high-quality brown leather. Flame-like embroidery is added to either side of the toe box, while the Mountain Research logo appears on the custom hardware for this pair.
MOUNTAIN RESEARCH X REEBOK BEATNIK RELEASE INFORMATION
The Mountain Research x Reebok beatnik has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in the coming weeks. Featuring a luxurious brown leather upper and detailed embroidery, pairs will likely be available directly from both brand’s websites as well as select retailers like Foot District with a price tag of $130.
