The Minions from Dreamworks’ Despicable Me have built their own franchise over the past several years, collaborating with dozens of brands along the way. This month, the goofy yellow characters are decorating a new set of shoes from Reebok Classics.
Minion-branded gear is nothing new in 2020, in fact, it has almost become a staple to see brands released Minion-ified versions of their products. However, we weren’t expecting this trend to extend so deep into our world, as it so evidently has this month. Today, the Reebok Classics team highlighted their new project with the Minions, decorating some classic ‘Bok sneakers in Minion-themed colorways. Featuring the InstaPump Fury and the Club C, both shoes come with a mostly yellow construction, with added hints of black to the tongue of each silhouette, as well as plenty of other minion-specific details, like Minion inner lining, ghostly green details, and circular pieces of the InstaPump made to look like their wandering eyes.
MINIONS X REEBOK CLASSICS RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming collection from Reebok Classics and their new Minion partners, featuring the InstaPump Fury and the Club C, has been scheduled to launch next month, on October 1st, 2020. The two-shoe pack will be available from both Reebok and select retailers, likely carrying retail prices in the $100-$150 range.
