The next gaming console generation is beginning its rollout this week, and with it, we have some interesting new sneaker releases This week, adidas showed off their entry, featuring the Superstar worn by the titular hero of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Video game tie-in sneakers have been on the rise recently, with this year bringing us a large handful of these special releases all within a relatively short time span. This can be attributed entirely to the release of the next generation of console gaming, which kicks off this week with the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Along with the release of the latter, we have a new Spider-Man video game coming, this time featuring Miles Morales as the main hero. In addition to transitioning to the video game world, it appears Miles has also picked up some new sneakers along the way, as he is seen in-game wearing adidas’ Top Ten retro basketball silhouette, as well as the classic Superstar. As it turns out, Spider-Man devs Insomniac Games and adidas have been hard at work bringing Miles’ new sneakers to life, as the black and red Superstars are slated to release from the Three Stripes next week.

The special project between Insomniac Games and adidas, featuring the Miles Morales-themed Superstar, has been scheduled to launch next week, on November 19th, 2020. Made to reflect Miles’ in-game footwear, this special-edition Superstar will be available exclusively from adidas for just $90.
